Educational Trusts

Cherokee State Bank offers a variety of loan and scholarship options that can assist you in paying for college. Pick up an application from your guidance counselor or stop by the bank. Invest in your future and apply today!

The guidelines for these trusts are as follows:


Educational Loans

 

Pritchard Educational Fund

  • Applicant is a graduate of Cherokee Washington High School
  • Application deadline is May 1, 2019
  • Student may apply up to four years
  • Estimated $450,000 available for 2019-2020 school year

Robert Brunk Educational Fund

  • Applicant is a resident of Cherokee County
  • Application deadline is May 1, 2019
  • Student may apply up to four years
  • Estimated $200,000 available for 2019-2020 school year

William and Ethel Gund Memorial Fund

  • Applicant is a graduate of MMCRU High School
  • Application deadline is May 1, 2019
  • Student may apply up to four years
  • Estimated $400,000 available for 2019-2020 school year

Applications for these loans are available in the loan department at Cherokee State Bank. 


Scholarship Information

 

Montiford and Mary Beck Doupe Scholarship Fund

  • Applicant is a resident of Cherokee County
  • Available to students pursuing studies in a medical field
  • Application deadline is April 1, 2019
  • Estimated $60,000 available for 2019-2020 school year

Fannye Ament Educational Fund

  • Applicant is a graduate from a high school in Cherokee County
  • Application deadline is April 1, 2019
  • $500 available

Florence Frisbie Educational Fund

  • Applicant is a graduate from a high school in Cherokee County
  • Application deadline is April 1, 2019
  • $2,500 available

Brummer-Stiles-Duncan Scholarship Fund

  • Applicant is a graduate from a high school in Cherokee County
  • Application deadline is April 1, 2019
  • Student may apply up to four years
  • Estimated $400,000 available for 2019-2020 school year

Nonken Trust

  • Applicant is a resident of Cherokee County
  • Applicant is a child or family member of a service veteran
  • Application deadline is April 1, 2019
  • Estimated $2,000 available for 2019-2020 school year
