Educational Trusts

Cherokee State Bank is a trustee for several educational trusts. As a graduate  of Cherokee Washington High School, you are eligible to apply for a loan from two of the trusts and to be considered for a scholarship from five of the trusts. The guidelines for these trusts are as follows:


Educational Loans

Pritchard Educational Fund

  • Applicant to be a graduate of Cherokee Washington High School
  • No interest on loan.

Brunk Educational Fund

  • Applicant to be a resident of Cherokee County.

Gund Memorial Fund

  •  
  • Applicant to be a resident of Cherokee County.
  • Qualified for a low interest loan.

Applications for these loans are available in the loan department at Cherokee State Bank. 


Scholarship Information

Montiford & Mary Beck Doupe Scholarship

  • Applicant to be a resident of Cherokee County.
  • Open to student pursuing studies in a medical field.

Fannye Ament Educational Scholarship

Florence Frisbie Educational Scholarship

Brummer-Stiles-Duncan Scholarship

  • Applicant must attend Cherokee Washington High School or Marcus Meriden Cleghorn High School

Nonken Trust Scholarship

  • Applicant to be a resident of Cherokee County
  • Applicant must be a child or family member of service veteran
